What do we look for?
When we assess a property, our qualified inspectors cover the entire dwelling, working methodically through a detailed checklist. As part of our assessment, we check:
Major structural defects and faults
Minor structural defects
Expected future maintenance
Floor levels – on an as-required basis and at extra cost.
Our Standard Residential Assessment dictates that we then provide the purchaser with a photographic record of the home, along with a full building report, and a detailed damage assessment.
Obtaining a property report can be particularly beneficial in auction or tender situations, due to the short time frame for buyers’ to be able to make an unconditional offer. We highly recommend this service to all home sellers, to provide to their real estate agents as a proven sales tool.
